Firstly, let’s clear up a few misconceptions about powder brows. The poor powder brow has gotten a bad name, due to horror photos of blocky & sometimes black/blue eyebrow tattoos of the eighties and nineties. Things have come a LONG way since those brow fails.
what's a powder brow?
The powder brow is by no means blocky, but a soft powdery finish that looks like you’ve just powdered your brows in (hence the name). Using a cosmetic tattoo machine, hundreds of tiny dots of pigment are implanted into the skin which resembles a soft powder finish. Once healed, the results look like you've just powdered your brows in. PERFECTLY.

For those of you that have already ventured into eyebrow tattooing and have found your tattoo turning an orange or pink colour.... I can tell you why. Iron oxides pigments have a tendency to fade to orange or pink over time. This is due to a chemical reaction and the size of the different iron oxide molecules.
Brow pigments are made of red, yellow, black and white colour molecules. The black molecule is often the smallest so it is broken down by the body the fastest. Leaving red, yellow and white behind which equals....
Orange.
Yellow and black iron oxide molecules also undergo a chemical reaction due to instability where they oxidise. The yellow and black molecules transform into the same composition of the red molecule. Leaving red and white iron oxide molecules behind which equals....
Pink.
eyebrow pigments have come a long way
Does this mean that you will always end up with pink or orange brows years after tattooing? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There are iron oxide free pigments available now for cosmetic tattooing which are the only pigments I use. They don't change to strange colours over time, they just slowly fade.
Imagine being able to wake up for YEARS with perfect brows. That’s the beauty of the powder brow. It lasts far longer than microblading due to a cosmetic tattoo machine being used, not a handheld microblade.

Powder brows are also perfect for all skin types, whether you’re oily, dry or mature. Oily skin types don’t take well to microblading as the over production of oil & larger pores means pigment is not retained well with microblading cuts.
Whether you have a full brow or no brows at all, the powder brow can accommodate. As a perfect shape is created for you & filled with colour, it doesn’t matter whether you have patchy brows, one wonky brow, uneven brows or no brows to speak of. The powder brow doesn’t discriminate. It just wants to help all the different brows out there. :)
